What can we learn about the world by taking the time to truly listen to one person's story?
12 Lives is a documentary series of twelve short films — each a cinematic portrait of one individual, seven to twelve minutes long, released as they are completed. The purpose is simple: to preserve stories, create empathy, and celebrate the voices that too often go unheard.
These aren't celebrities or headlines. They're veterans and artists, tradespeople and caregivers, educators and survivors — everyday people whose journeys reveal something extraordinary about what it means to be human.
